Muskwa Lerat

Muskwa Lerat is a proud First Nations artist and entrepreneur from Cowessess First Nation, based in Saskatoon. With over 20 years of experience in the music industry, Muskwa has built a career as an artist, producer, and recording engineer, collaborating with local musicians and uplifting unique voices through his work. He studied audio production at the Recording Arts Institute of Saskatoon in 2013, where he refined his technical skills and creative approach. Beyond music, Muskwa has over a decade of experience in film, contributing to projects featured at national and international festivals. In 2019, he co-founded Future Artistic Minds, a creative youth program that provides a safe and inspiring space for emerging artists to explore music, and art. Through this initiative and his continued work in the arts, Muskwa remains committed to building community, supporting self-expression, and nurturing the next generation of creatives.
