Muskwa Lerat is a First Nations Filmmaker, Writer and Recording Engineer stationed in Saskatoon. Originally from Cowessess First Nation in Treaty 4 territory. He is currently working on local projects as a co-creator of Future Artistic Minds, and YXE Cree Speakers Society. Over the past decade Muskwa has stepped into the world of film and has collaborated on a number of projects that have been accepted into film festivals nationally and internationally. Muskwa continues to work with local musicians as a recording engineer and with youth as a mentor, and continues to create programs that foster music and film making as an outlet for self expression and creativity.
