Aaron Shingoose is a Sautleaux two-spirit artist from the Cote First Nations of Treaty 4, his career in theatre began in 2007 with Saskatchewan Native Theatre Company’s (now known as Gordon Tootoosis Nikaniwin Theatre or GTNT), Circle of Voices (COV) Program, in 2012 he made the switch from acting into stage management and has never looked back on that decision. Credits include; Titus A. Puppet Revenge (Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan), In Care (GTNT), The Hours That Remain (Gwaandak Theatre), Nicimos (GTNT), The House You Build (GTNT), The (Post) Mistress (GTNT), Two Indians (GTNT), Shakespeare’s Will (Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan), The Dark Lady (Shakespeare in the Ruins), The Fiancee (Persephone Theatre), Done/Undone (Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan), Million Dollar Quartet (Persephone Theatre), The Woman in Black (Persephone Theatre), Leave It To Weavers (GTNT). Aaron wishes to continue working hard to be a role model for aboriginal youth wishing to get involved in the performing arts.
