Miki Wolf is a proud Yukoner, from the Champagne and Aishihik First Nation (Wolf Clan). Miki is Southern Tutchone, Tlingit, and Plains Cree, as well as Japanese and white. Miki is an MFA candidate at Liverpool John Moores University, generating new creative research in Indigenous Theatre and Dance Pedagogies through Transart Institute. Miki has been actively working in professional theatre and dance—with a focus on experimental, highly physical works—for the greater part of the last decade. She holds a BFA in Theatre / Art and Cultural Studies from SFU. Miki is a writer, teacher, auntie, and performer. She holds Contact Improvisation, cinema, and land-based work dear to her heart. Miki lives with her partner on beautiful Treaty Six Territory.
