Emily Heinek

Emil Heinek is an emerging artist in the Saskatoon area, having graduated from the U of S with a BFA in Drama. She is excited to be working with GTNT for the first time in a whole new department as props designer. She spends most of her time working different part time jobs to supplement her thrifting addiction since moving out on her own. Having so much space means having to buy so many things to decorate it! This has been the first year of consistent artist work since the theatre world emerged from the clutches of COVID, and she has been having a blast working on different productions. Recently this summer she was acting on the Wheatland Express (Buttered Ghost Theatre) as well as costume designing for The Love Interest (Theatre Howl) in the 2022 Fringe Festival. Earlier this year she also stage managed and costume designed for Typecastress (Little Libertine Playhouse). She is excited to be working in this brand new department learning new skills and working with many new people.
