Roles with GTNT: Set Designer


Dannyll has been involved in the performing arts for more than 30 years. His love of the arts began while growing up in North Battleford located in Treaty Six territory. Dannyll attended Red Deer College and majored in Technical Direction. He has worked in film, television, theatre, dance, music and opera. Working with such companies as Saskatchewan Express, New Dance Horizons, Golden Apple Theatre, Globe Theatre, Do It With Class Young People’s Theatre, Gordon Tootoosis NIkaniwin Theatre, Alberta Theatre Projects as well as Production Canada (Toronto), RAWK En¬tertainment Group (Regina), and Smile Productions (Calgary).

Dannyll was Production Manager for the National Artists Program as part of the 2005 Canada Summer Games, and the Opening/Closing Ceremonies and Festival Stage for the North American Indigenous Games held in Regina in 2014. Dannyll was the Crew Chief for the 2013 Junos, Paul McCartney’s 2013 appearance at Mosaic Stadium, and the 2013 Grey Cup Festivities, all in Regina.

He is excited to be designing again for GTNT, his previous work being the 2019, production of Two Indians by Falen Johnson.
