Elizabeth Ahenakew

Kokum Elizabeth Ahenakew is from Ahtahkakoop First Nations. Kokum has always worked with the youth throughout her carrer, She has her Bachelor’s in Education, plus a certificate and diploma in Addictions Counselling. She has always had a passion for theatre and has acted in Spirit World, a production by Wanita Bird, her daughter. Kokum currently works half time at E.D, Feehan High School as a knowledge keeper and has worked for GTNT as the Cultural Support Advisor to the Circle of Voices program since 2019. “It is such a pleasure to witness the youth’s talents that are portrayed in the theatre, utilizing the skills that they have acquired from the theatre professionals.”
