The Playhouse program invites children from community schools in Saskatoon to explore their creativity as they create and perform their own original one-act plays (10-20 minutes each). Intended for inner city schools, the Playhouse Program is a six-month performing arts project for children in grades 4 to 8. The children will be immersed in a learning environment of theatre and play development and will learn skills like how to work as a team and public speaking through theatre games led by a local Indigenous artist.

The Playhouse ends with a final performance towards the end of the school year for friends and family.
